Tips from Sirdar on using WOW!
Joining in a new ball of WOW! yarn
"Remove approximately 5cm (2 in) of WOW! fibres
from the end of old and beginning of new balls by drawing fibres between
thumb-nail and index finger, leaving 5cm (2 in) of core yarn exposed. Knot
these core ends firmly together as close to the remaining WOW! fibres as
possible and trim ends ". [We would always
suggest you join at the end of rows. DKY]
"This gives an almost invisible join with no
bulky ends to sew in. The same principle can be applied to any ends which
need to be sewn in to complete the garment - remove the WOW! fibres and just
sew in the core yarn."
Sewing up
"When sewing up garments knitted in WOW! we would
recommend that you use a plain yarn in a matching colour." |
